What is mediation?
Mediation is a non-judicial, non-adversarial method of resolving disputes.
A mediator is an impartial facilitator of this process. The goal is to
assist the disputants to discover and communicate their vision of the
resolution of their conflict. An agreement is created by the disputants
wherein both parties agree to specific actions that will allow them to move
forward and transform their dispute into positive, peaceful resolution.
Any dispute can be resolved:
- Divorce settlement
- Child custody
- Business negotiations
- Family conflict
- Neighborhood disputes
- Property settlements
- Land disputes
- Workplace disputes
